Hey all you close-to-Vancouverites! I'll be showing and selling my artwork in a big exhibition at BC Place from Nov20-23rd, 2008. The show is called One of a Kind.

This will be the first time the event will be showing on the west coast. Over 200 contemporary North American artists will be showcasing their works. Tickets are $10 at the door (or save $2 online if purchased beforehand.) Tickets will allow you to come and go for the whole weekend!

I was invited to be part of this show through the Vancouver Island University. I was one of the students asked to represent the school. I'm very excited!

I've been to a few conceptually-similar exhibitions in New York City and Melbourne. Both left me in awe from sheer scale alone. These things are huge! It furthered my sense of the business behind Art. Its nice to physically see the art world body!

DNA art show changed to...

Here are a few recent projects...

I have an art show coming up hosted by the always exciting guys at DNA. A girlfriend from school, taking Graphic Design, and myself are having a joint art show on May 5th, 2007. It will probably start around 7-9pm and will be tons of fun... Both of us are excited to be having a show together and displaying our work to some of the skate kids in this area -up until now a lot of them have only known us by being some of the few girl skateboarders in this area. (not to say that my skills rep hard... I still kind of suck but its fun!)

the beginnings

first blog on the site... looking forward to showing you current works by 'tani' for all those that have been hounding me to show my work. Thanks for the added push!
